MSSNY Job Board Terms of Service

The Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) is not responsible for material posted by any individual on the MSSNY Job Board and does not warrant nor guarantee the content, accuracy, or use of the content posted on the MSSNY Job Board.

MSSNY accepts no responsibility for the information posted on this Job Board by any party. Information posted does not necessarily reflect the policies of the MSSNY.

In no event shall MSSNY be liable for any special, indirect, or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, data, or profits arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of any information posted on the MSSNY Job Board.

MSSNY specifically disclaims all liability for claims or damages that may result from any postings by any party to the MSSNY Job Board.

MSSNY reserves the right to remove any materials it deems objectionable.

MSSNY does not accept and will reject spam content or any other form of systematic or automatic programming postings to the Job Board.

MSSNY members, non-members and the general public can post recruitment postings and must first register and accept this Terms of Agreement, or they cannot be accepted.

Users should not attempt to sell or post unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or other forms of solicitation to the group, with the exception of posting a job for recruitment. MSSNY does not accept advertisements and/or product announcements from outside publishers, producers of software, or other vendors or commercial entities.

Individuals or organizations should not post on the MSSNY Job Board any information or other material that is protected by copyright law without the permission of the copyright owner. By posting material, the posting party warrants and represents that it owns the copyright, if any, with respect to such material or has received permission from the copyright owner that covers such posting.

Any hypertext links and any reference to any products, services, or other information by trade name, trademark, supplier, or otherwise do not necessarily constitute or imply its endorsement, sponsorship, or recommendation by the MSSNY.

MSSNY expressly disclaims liability related to the accuracy and content of referenced links, websites or publications and use of any products or services referenced in the MSSNY Job Board. You are strongly encouraged to verify the accuracy and reliability of content of any other sites before posting links to such sites.

The MSSNY's policy is to comply with all antitrust laws, and the MSSNY reminds all users to guard against activity that could be construed as a violation of the antitrust laws.

Do not post any material that: could be construed to impose a restraint on trade, inhibit free and fair competition, or organize a boycott. Do not assume that postings are confidential or privileged. Do not post material without the permission of the copyright owner. MSSNY is not responsible for the accuracy or content of material that is posted.

When posting material, always use a clear, descriptive subject line. The more descriptive you are, the more likely people will read and respond to your posting.

If you respond to a posting, check the subject line to make sure it still reflects the topic at hand. Please do not use ALL CAPS when submitting messages. Avoid (or explain) jargon, abbreviations or colloquial language that may be unknown to readers.

Try to keep postings as brief as possible. Avoid posting encoded messages and documents to the MSSNY Job Board. Post in plain text format. If you have a website, consider making long documents a link available for downloading from the web.

Proofread your posting before sending to make sure they are complete and say what you mean to say. Every posting should begin with a clear, concise introduction to the topic, or refer to the topic of a previous posting. It would be a mistake for participants and readers to assume that the MSSNY Job Board postings are confidential or privileged. Moreover, electronic communications are discoverable in legal proceedings.

Respondents: Respondents to MSSNY’s Job Board postings should not post defamatory, offensive, profane, threatening, abusive, or illegal materials on the MSSNY Job Board or send such responses to the originators of the MSSNY Job Board postings.

MSSNY reserves the right to terminate any posting that does not abide by these guidelines.
